Finishing & Maturation: American white oak char #4 (200L Cask): 7 years | Ex-rum cask solera system: 2 years | Ex-Peated Islay Scotch quarter cask: 1 year
TASTING NOTES:
Nose: citrus, creme brûlée, toasted rye bread
Palate: orange marmalade, whipped honey butter on rye toast, with slight earthy biscuit-ey notes, finishes with sweet tobacco
Finish: a delightful ensemble that greets you with citrus marmalade, and falls to fire-roasted hatch chili pepper and toasted rye bread. Moves onto a subtle, yet long-lasting sweet tobacco that stays on your palette (think of a long draw on a rich and sweet cigar; bright leading into rich earth and dried fruits)
