Madeira Finished Bourbon

EXPLORATORY CASK SERIES RELEASE #1

Where our exploratory series got its start!

We finished a single cask worth of Doc Swinson’s Madeira Cask Finish. We had a limited quantity of our 12 year old Indiana bourbon left in stock (one barrel to be exact) and this one was a pet project on our blender’s behalf. There was finite room for a finishing cask in a shipment of sherry casks from Europe, and after enjoying some whiskey from the barrel we decided that Madeira just might be the perfect compliment to add to the collection. As this is a single cask release, an exceptionally limited number of bottles were ever produced. Oh, this release won a real gold medal as well, yeah baby! We hope you can find a bottle and share it!
